The Public Finance Ministry (MFP) on Monday borrowed 200 million lei from commercial banks, at a 4.21 per cent yield, through a bond issue on 15 years, with a residual maturity in 152 months, for which banks submitted offers worth 219 million lei. The Treasury borrows cheaper for this type of bonds, after which, in September, it accepted a 4.35 per cent average yield. On Tuesday, MFP will organise an additional session corresponding to the bond tender on Monday, through which it wants to borrow other 30 million lei, at the yield already established in the tender on Monday.
