Some 4.75 mln Romanians want to buy at least one product on ‘Black Friday’

Some 4.75 million Romanians have the intention to buy at least one product on the occasion of this year’s edition of the Black Friday discount campaign, by 1.3 million more than the number recorded at the 2013 event, show the findings of a specialist survey, released on Wednesday.
The number of the Romanians who have heard about the Black Friday discounts has reached this year 63% of the people aged between 18 and 65. Thus, compared to the same period of last year, one may remark an increase by nearly one third in the number of the people (+1.7 million) who have information about Black Friday, according to the Millward Brown Romania survey. As to the purchasing intention, the survey reveals that, in 2014, approximately 4.75 million people plan to buy at least one discounted product. Basically, 38% of the Romanians aged 18 to 65 were in the category of answers ‘I will probably buy’ or ‘I will surely buy.’
