On Romania’s National Day, Dan Puric reveals „Romanian Soul” at TNB

For actor Dan Puric, pantomime is a silence filled with meaning. Foreign media described him as „a master of perfection and ingeniousness, of black humour, that revives the art of pantomime, as practiced by Chaplin and Marceau”.

This maestro who enchanted audiences on all continents has also won the appreciation of Romanian theatregoers. He suprises his audience by his limitless talent and his acting embeds a miraculous desire to search, to discover the meaning and the beauty of life, in the souls of all attendants. Actor, director and writer Dan Puric is, beyond any doubt, a honorary representative of Romanian culture, encountered and rewarded by all his viewers with passionate and well-deserved cheers.

On Monday, December 1, starting at 7 pm, maestro Dan Puric will return to the Stage of the National Theatre of Bucharest (TNB) Studio Hall in his unequalled artistic production “Romanian soul”.

Materialized as a successful artistic act, the performance “Romanian Soul” provides no solutions; it attempts to rediscover the contemporary dimensions of Romanian spirituality and it represents, in essence, the biography of us, as experienced by Dan Puric. The performance “Romanian Soul” is a rush of revolt, humour and hope, a metaphor that lifts the Romanian man from the dirt of the everyday world to provide him a mystical perspective upon history that will grant him the power to be born again; it is a sample of unequalled talent and outstanding virtuosity in artistic expression, informs Mediafax.

“I dedicate this performance to the Romanian nation, to its uncorrupted inner beauty, that will help it recover one day. By loving this beauty, it will have the power to cure other people as well, while gone, Dan Puric declared.
