Dacia sales in France to reach 100,000 in 2014

Dacia’s new car sales in France have grown by 18.2 per cent in the first 11 months of this year compared to the same period last year, to 94,366 units, surpassing last year’s total sales level of 93,800 units.

Dacia’s market share in France has grown to 5.78 per cent in the first 11 months this year, up from 4.94 per cent in the same period last year.

The French auto market has grown by 1.1 per cent in the first 11 months, to 1.96 million units, according to the data presented on Monday by the Association of French Auto Manufacturers (CCFA).

In November, Dacia sales grew by 2.3 per cent to 7,480 units, while Renault Group’s sales dropped by 5 per cent to 30,956 units. The French market contracted by 2.3 per cent to 135,070 units.
