Finance Ministry schedules bank loans of 3.57 bn lei, in December

The Finance Ministry /MFP/ has scheduled loans of 3.57 billion lei from commercial banks, in December, of which 3.3 billion lei through six tenders of treasury bills and government bonds, and 270 million lei through additional sessions of non-competitive bids, related to the bond tenders.
The sums will be used to refinance the public debt and to refinance the state’s budget deficit. According to the prospectuses, the MFP will hold two tenders of discounted treasury bills, one on December 15, of 1 billion lei, and another one, on December 22, totalling 500 million lei.
Also held will be four tenders of bonds maturing in three, five, seven and ten years, each followed, on the next day, by an additional session of non-competitive bids, with a value of 15% of the original value of the bonds issued.
