Huo Yuzhen, Chinese Ambassador to Bucharest bids farewell from Romania

Foreign Affairs Minister Bogdan Aurescu yesterday received the farewell visit of H.E. Mrs. Huo Yuzhen, the Ambassador of P.R. China to Bucharest.

Bogdan Aurescu appreciated the activity of the Chinese ambassador and thanked her for the especially important contribution made to the development of the very good relations if the two countries. Ambassador Huo, in turn, thanked Romanian authorities for their constant support offered throughout her term in Bucharest, a Foreign Ministry (MAE) release notes.

The two officials reviewed the state of play of the bilateral relations and highlighted the cooperation in the economic field, also confirmed by a growing trade trend. The parties agreed to continue to foster and promote economic cooperation and use the existing investing potential of either country. The Romanian foreign minister and the Chinese Ambassador also reminded of the outcomes of the China – Central and Eastern Europe Summit (16+1) organized in Bucharest last year, and stressed the importance of a quick implementation of the projects agreed upon during the Summit. The Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs sent his counterpart, Mr. Wang Yi, the invitation to make a visit to Bucharest in 2015.
