Parliament sits in solemn meeting to mark 25 years since Revolution

A solemn Parliament sitting has been scheduled for 17 December, from 10 am, to mark 25 years since the December 1989 Revolution, the joint Standing Bureaus of the Chamber of Deputies and Senate decided. ‘On 17 December, from 10 am, there will be a solemn sitting dedicated to 25 years since the December 1989 Revolution, with the possibility for each political group to give a 15-minute address on the subject. Each political group may have up to ten guests’, Chamber Secretary General Niculae Mircovici said, according to Agerpres.
