Romanian Prime Minister at the CEE-China Belgrade Summit

Prime Minister Victor Ponta participates on Tuesday in Belgrade, Serbia in the third reunion at PMs level from Central and Eastern Europe and China, says a release sent to Agerpres on Monday night. The Prime Minister is to be accompanied by vice-premier and minister of the Regional Development and Public Administration, Liviu Dragnea.
“The heads of governments will assess in the Belgrade summit the stage of implementation of the cooperation proposals launched a year ago in Bucharest within the ‘Directory Lines for the cooperation between China and the states of Central and Eastern Europe’. Likewise, they will approach the ways of further deepening cooperation in this format through concrete projects in transports and connectivity, trade and investments, energy, finances, science and technology, environment protection and inter-human exchanges,” the press release specifies.
On the reunion’s sidelines, Prime Minister Victor Ponta is to have talks with the Prime Minister of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Li Keqiang, with the Serbian PM, Aleksandar Vucic, and with other heads of government of the participating states, the source adds
