Angela Gheorghiu meets fans at Carturesti

On the occasion of winter holidays, soprano Angela Gheorghiu announced a meeting with her fans in Bucharest, at the Carturesti Verona Book Store, on Thursday, December 18. Here, she will sign autographs, promoting her new album of international carols “Guardian Angel”, produced in partnership with the Radio National Orchestra, conducted by Tiberiu Soare, and the Radio Children’s Choir, conducted by Voicu Popescu.

The world famous lyrical soprano thus returns with a new dedicated to this year’s holidays after the tremendous success enjoyed last year with the album of Romanian Christmas carols “O, ce veste minunata!”, that won a Golden Record less than two weeks after being launched.

The album “Guardian Angel” includes eleven carols of international fame, such as “Silent Night”, “White Christmas”, “O, Tannenbaum” and “I’ll be home for Christmas”.
