PNL’s Gorghiu committed to continue the political project initiated by Iohannis

Chairwoman of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Alina Gorghiu on Friday stated that her plan is to continue the project initiated by the former leader of the party, President-elect Klaus Iohannis, to change the way politics is done in Romania.

“I will continue Klaus Iohannis’s project launched during the presidential campaign, to change the way politics is done in Romania and what I mean is that I will always acknowledge the need for a real collective decision and also the need for inter-institutional communication. I’m talking about a new path right now. For the path that opened ahead of us after the presidential elections is the same that the PNL had taken some time ago and now it has the duty of consolidating it,” Gorghiu wrote on her wall on Facebook.

Alina Gorghiu on Thursday got elected chairwoman of the old National Liberal Party (PNL), against her opponent Ludovic Orban.
