Minister of European Funds Eugen Teodorovici stated that Romania should receive from the European Commission, until Tuesday, the decision to approve the 2014-2020 Operational Program on Competitiveness.
“These days there are in approval procedures for Romania, one was already approved, the one on technical assistance , and I believe tomorrow or the day after or on Tuesday we will receive from the Commission the decision to approve the Operational Programme on Competitiveness that was, normally, planned for next year. It is already adopted at the level of the Commission, they only need to send the decision to approve. Romania has already begun receiving approvals from the Commission on the operational programmes. Currently approved by the Commission are the programs regarding disadvantaged persons, the technical assistance programme, and the third, the competitiveness programme”, said Teodorovici for Agerpres.
He stated that until the end of 2014 the guide for the two directions referring to young persons of the Human Capital Operational Programme (2014-2020) will be launched in public consultation.
