ANM issues Yellow Code warning of snow, strong wind and mixed precipitations

After the spring time before Christmas, the winter assumes its duties. The National Meteorology Administration (ANM) has issued on Friday a Yellow Code warning of snows, strong wind, mixed precipitations, ice for the south, southeastern and locally central Romania, and in the Southern and Oriental Carpathians valid from December 26, 20:00 hrs until December 27, 20:00 hrs. There will be affected 31 counties.
According to meteorologists, in the above-mentioned period, in the said areas will snow, with over 20 cm layer in thickness in certain places. In SE Dobrogea, in the first part of the Friday night and in Muntenia and Oltenia (south and SW) on Saturday morning, precipitations will be mixed and ice will cover the land here and there, reports Agerpres.

Wing will get stronger in southern Moldavia, Dobruja, most part of Muntenia and southern Oltenia, where wind gusts will exceed 45-55 km/h, with blizzard temporarily.
