President Iohannis has summoned ministers Aurescu, Oprea and Dusa for “exploratory talks” on Monday

Three of the most important ministers of the cabinet have been summoned at the Cotroceni Palace on Monday for a series of discussions with President Klaus Iohannis, informs RomaniaTV:  Gabriel Oprea, the Minister of Interior, Bogdan Aurescu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mircea Dusa, the Minister of National Defence. ​​According to government sources quoted by RomaniaTV, President  Klaus Johannis wants to have short exploratory talks with the three officials managing the main “presidential  fields”.

According to RomaniaTV, the President has also met the heads of the intelligence services.

Last week, the president had a first institutional meeting in his new capacity, with  Prime Minister Victor Ponta.  “A useful, effective and serious meeting, a proof that things go back to normal,” the Prime Minister has characterized his meeting with the President.
