Almost 106,000 Dacia auto vehicles sold in France in 2014

105,896 Dacia auto vehicles were sold on the French market in 2014, up by 12.9 per cent compared to the 93,803 units sold in 2013, the local auto manufacturer’s market share growing from 4.35 to 4.88 per cent. PSA Peugeot Citroen and Renault, the biggest French auto manufacturers, registered last year sales growths of 1.3 per cent (659,201 units) and 5.5 per cent (577,625 units) respectively.

Dacia was taken over by Renault in 1999. Re-launched in 2004 with the Logan model, Dacia has become in 8 years’ time an important player on the European auto market.
