Returned from Paris where he attended the solidarity march in memory of victims killed in the terrorist attacks , the Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, explained that he had several discussions with European leaders, and thanked his French counterpart for heat and warm.
“I had the opportunity to discuss with many political leaders in Europe and the world. I talked to Mrs. Chancellor Merkel, European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker, the European Council President Donald Tusk, the President of Ukraine, Prime Minister of Israel and many others. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the French President, Mr Hollande, for the invitation and warm welcome. I am glad I could be with him in these difficult moments for the French nation. I thank him also for the special attention given to our messages and to the solidarity of the Romanian people, ” Iohannis stated upon his arrival on Henri Coanda International Airport from Paris.”It was a march of international solidarity, of will to fight terrorism , attended by Muslims and Hebrews. There were representatives from Israel and the Arab states, which shows the whole world’s concern for terrorism,” President Iohannis told journalists at the airport.
