Poland’s Orbis takes over Accor hotels in Romania and 5 other countries

Orbis, Poland’s main hotel group, has bought 46 hotels from Accor’s network in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia. Of these, 7 hotels are located in Romania. The transaction totaled EUR 142.3 M.

Thus, Orbis has become the biggest hotel chain in Central Europe, with over 100 hotels in 8 countries, and the only licenser for all Accor brands in 16 countries in the region.

Accor has 7 hotels in Romania: Pullman Hotel, Novotel Hotel, Mercure Hotel and 4 Ibis hotels.
