Construction of ParkLake commercial center has “surfaced”

Located in a well-populated but also a tourist area, Bucharest’s ParkLake Commercial Center is increasingly looking like a commercial platform of reference. The construction, financed in partnership by Sonae Sierra and Caelum Development, has reached the stage of structural works. At the same time, the developers announce that 70 per cent of the project’s rentable area has been contracted. The main renter is France’s Carrefour, which has already bought 12,000 square meters within ParkLake. New rent contracts have been signed lately, so that 70 per cent or 70,000 square meters of the center’s surface has been rented out.

The new rent contracts have brought to ParkLake one of the biggest H&M stores in Romania, with a surface of 2,700 square meters, as well as all the Inditex brands that are present on the Romanian market: Zara, Zara Home, Oysho, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius, Bershka and Pull&Bear, brands that will occupy a total surface of over 6,000 square meters. Moreover, the presence of Koton, Maxitoys and Maxbet has already been confirmed.

The project, constructed on the location of the former Spartac sports center in Titan neighborhood, will have over 200 shops, 23 restaurants and a multiplex cinema. The project is expected to be completed in the first half of next year.
