President Iohannis meets PM Ponta, tackles economic situation in the context of the Swiss franc crisis

President Klaus Iohannis received  Prime Minister Victor Ponta at the Cotroceni Palace on Tuesday, to discuss the economic situation in the context of the Swiss franc crisis and the Executive’s activity in this period, the Presidential Administration informs.

“The President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, has received the visit today, at the Cotroceni Palace, of Mr. Prime Minister Victor Ponta during a working meeting in which were discussed the economic situation in the context of the Swiss franc crisis, as well as the Executive’s activity in this period,” the Presidential Administration mentions in a release.

According to the quoted source, the meeting’s agenda also featured topics regarding the current international situation.

Agerpres reported that after  meeting  president Iohannis, the Prime Minister was going to meet the ambassadors of the European union countries accredited to Bucharest.
