Romania will host the Gymnastics European Championships 2017, the Executive Committee of the Gymnastics European Union (UEG) decided on Friday, in Lausanne, according to a post on Facebook by the spokesperson of the Romanian Gymnastics Federation, Emanuel Fantaneanu.
The Floreasca Hall in Bucharest was host of first Women Gymnastics European Championship, in 1957.
If the Bucharest Polyvalent Hall won’t be ready by then, other locations, such as Cluj-Napoca, wouldn’t be excluded, said the chairman of the Romanian Gymnastics Federation, Adrian Stoica.
