President Klaus Iohannis sees the memory of the victims of Holocaust as a painful warning of history.
‘Seventy years ago, the prisoners of the extermination camp of Auschwitz ere liberated. I have bestowed the Faithful Service Order in the rank of Knight upon several Romanian survivors. The decorating ceremony today, at the Cotroceni Palace, is a respectful homage to all the victims of the Holocaust of World War II.
