“Alexandrion Distilleries,” Alexandrion Group’s new brand

Alexandrion Group is creating a new image for itself and from now on will be identified as “Alexandrion Distilleries.” From now on Alexandrion Group’s entire alcoholic beverage operations (production, distribution and import) will be known under the new name. With a portfolio of over 10 brands produced in Romania at the distillery in Dealu Mare, Pleasa, Prahova County, Alexandrion Distilleries has redefined standards of excellence during its 20 years of presence on the Romanian market.

“For Excellence! This was the motto that guided us during all these years. And excellence is obtained through meaningful efforts, sacrifices and perseverance! After 20 years, Alexandrion Distilleries represents not just a powerful Romanian company but a mature business model, a landmark for competition and seriousness in producing high-quality alcoholic beverages,” Nawaf Salameh, Founder and President of Alexandrion Distilleries, stated.

The distilleries in Bucov-Pleasa are located in the heart of the Dealu Mare area (previously known as Dealu Frumos), a region that is on the 45 degree parallel, just like France’s Bordeaux region. The Alexandrion distilleries take and develop the defining elements of a blessed environment. Its own creative activities are trying to complete this wonderful heritage through the refinement of the distilled products and the net quality of all products launched on the market.

The distilleries span a surface of 200,000 square meters and have the most modern technologies in Europe: multifunctional distilleries that are unique in Romania (for wine, fruits and cereals), an underground vault with a capacity for 3,000 barrels and a 10,000-square meter bottling section.

The famous Vinars Brancoveanu XO and Brancoveanu VSOP wines, Alexandrion 5* and 7*, Vodka Alexander and Vodka Kreskova, the Saber Premium bilberry brandy and cherry brandy, but also other products that have ensured the company’s recognition as quality leader in Romania have stood out from among the well-known brands produced by Alexandrion Distilleries at its own distillery in Pleasa.

The Alexandrion Distilleries have selectively imported only those types of beverages that it could not produce: Glenfiddich – the best-known and best-sold Single Malt at global level and in Romania, Single Malt The Balvenie, Triple Malt Monkey Shoulder, Cognac Camus and Fernet Branca digestives.
