Newly appointed CCR judge Teodoroiu to be sworn in office

Newly appointed judge of the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR) Simona-Maya Teodoroiu will be sworn in office today at a ceremony at the Cotroceni Palace, the Presidential Administration reports.

The ceremony is scheduled for 11:30hrs, EET.

At a plenary session of the Senate on Wednesday, Simona Maya Teodoroiu was appointed judge at the Constitutional Court of Romania as the judge office held by Toni Grebla was vacated following his resignation.

Simona Maya Teodoroiu was recommended for the office by the senatorial group of the Social Democratic Party (PSD.
