During a visit to Bucharest, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair had a meeting with the leader of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), Premier Victor Ponta at the Victoria Palace on Wednesday, according to Mediafax. The two had previously met in December, after the presidential election Ponta had lost. Victor Ponta has said a number of times that Tony Blair was his political role model. Blair is currently an envoy of the Quartet (Russia, USA, EU, UN) to the Middle East, assigned by US Secretary of State John Kerry with the task of drafting an economic plan for the development of tourism and attraction of private investment to the West Bank.
