On Wednesday, March 4, Transport Minister Ioan Rus ordered the ministry’s leadership to meet the representatives of TAROM’s leadership and the six signatories of the open letter addressed to the company’s leadership the day before. The aspects presented by the signatories of the open letter – senior airplane commanders or flight instructors – will be discussed during the meeting set to take place at the headquarters of TAROM.
It seems the decision was not on the liking of the company’s leadership. Thus, according to Agerpres, TAROM CEO Christian Heinzmann announced that the members of TAROM’s Administrative Board resigned on Tuesday and a new board will be nominated.
The members of the company’s new board will be nominated by the Transport Ministry.
The members of the Administration Board were Dumitrascu Gabriel – chairman, Dante Stein, Toma-Dorin Cimpeanu, Dan Andrei and Anisoara Cornila.
