The two reactors of the Cernavoda nuclear plant produced 11.675 million MWh in 2014, of which 10.753 million MWh were delivered to the National Energy System, according to the data published on Nuclearelectrica’s website.
Reactor 1 produced 5.624 million MWh and delivered 5.164 million MWh, registering an average capacity of 91.14 per cent, while Reactor 2 produced 6.051 million MWh and delivered 5.589 million MWh, registering an average capacity of 98.5 per cent.
In 2013, the two reactors produced over 11.618 million MWh, of which 10.695 million MWh were delivered to the National Energy System.
Since becoming operational, the two nuclear reactors have produced a total of 142.543 million MWh of electricity, delivering 131.436 million MWh to the energy system, Agerpres informs.
