Madalina Cioc, ISB PR & Admissions Officer:International School of Bucharest Grants Three Full Scholarships for the academic year 2015/2016

Three full Scholarships will be granted for new very bright students for the academic year 2015-2016 at International School of Bucharest (ISB). ISB aims to provide access to high standards of education to external candidates between the age of 11 and 17, who thrive academically, have an impeccable conduct, live in Bucharest and cannot meet the expense of a private international school.

Brief information on the ISB Scholarship Programme

ISB Scholarship Programme is available to students who are not currently enrolled at ISB and who need to prove excellent academic results, as well as impeccable behaviour conduct.  Parents are asked for a full disclosure of family income, as requested by the members of the Scholarship Committee. Students will benefit from full scholarship only on the understanding that excellent academic results and impeccable conduct are maintained. Financial condition is evaluated annually and scholarship beneficiaries must provide financial information each year in order to renew their scholarship agreement. All selected candidates need to provide several documents: Official school academic transcripts for the past full two academic years and half of the current academic year, recommendation letters from the current Mathematics teacher & English teacher, students’ personal statement (an essay of maximum 1000 words which introduces yourself as a student), both parents’ income statements & declaration signed from parents that they do not have other financial resources. Applicants who fail to provide all necessary documentation by the appropriate deadline will be disqualified. Following processing the applications, the successful candidates are invited to school for tests.
