Oprea: UNPR national interest matches very well a president like Klaus Iohannis

The National Union for the Progress of Romania (UNPR)’s national interest matches very well a president like Klaus Iohannis, the UNPR chairman, deputy prime minister Gabriel Oprea told the private Realitatea TV on Monday night. He said the UNPR guarantees economic and political stability in Romania.

‘As regards the national security matters we totally support president Iohannis,’ Oprea added.

In his opinion, Iohannis is ‘a serious man, a man of his word.’

Oprea believes that his relationship with president Klaus Iohannis has started on the right. On the other side, he said that prime minister Victor Ponta is a young with a great future, who’s going to have a word in politics. According to him, Ponta is a very good chief of the Executive.

‘I care a lot of the UNPR blazon (…) On the medium and long term, he who keeps his word turns into a political brand,’ the deputy prime minister concluded.
