Tariceanu’s party becomes legal

The Reforming Liberal Party (PLR)  has been operating with all the due paperwork in place since Monday, when it was officially registered with the Political Parties Register held at the Bucharest Tribunal.

‘We approve the modification of the Statute and Programme of the Party as decided on by the Extraordinary Congress of the National Party of the Environment of 19.12.2014. We order the inscription of changes in the Register of Political Parties. Right of appeal within five days of communication, to be filed with the Tribunal of Bucharest. Handed down in public hearing today, 30.03.2015’, reads the CAB decision.

‘What I can tell you is that today (Monday), the Bucharest Tribunal admitted our application to be registered, change name, sign and everything else. I have seen it posted on the portal. We have not held a meeting yet. We will have talks this week and, when I receive the official communication I will let you know’, PLR Alba President Ioan Lazar said.

The President of PLR is Calin Popescu Tariceanu who left PNL last year. Although he stood for election as president in 2014, his party had not been officially registered.
