The Energy Ministry estimates privatization revenues of RON 684.13 M and inflows into the state treasury’s general account of RON 609.58 M from privatizations, according to the budget of revenues and expenses for the privatization activity in 2015, a budget published in the Official Gazette.
The Energy Ministry forecasts expenses of RON 28.5 M on the payment of consultants, privatization agents or law firms and on preparing and executing the privatization of commercial companies. Of that sum, the institution estimates expenses of RON 340,000 on national and international advertisements for the privatization offer and the selection of intermediaries/consultants, RON 7.143 M on law firm fees, RON 9.59 M on the fees of the intermediaries of public offers/privatization consultants, as well as RON 11.42 M for other expenses on the administration, preparation and execution of privatization, including ASF taxes.
Likewise, the public institution contributes RON 5 M to the hiking of the registered capital of some commercial companies, in cases stipulated by law.
The expenses related to the payment of special consultants that would devise medium and long-term development strategies, as well as energy reform solutions that concern the evolution of the energy sector – electricity, thermal power, hydropower, nuclear power, oil and gas, mineral resources – total RON 21.92 M.
