Minister of National Defence Mircea Dusa is paying an official visit to Georgia on April 5 – 6, at the invitation of his counterpart Mindia Janelidze.
According to a Defence Ministry release to Agerpres, the Romanian Minister’s agenda for the visit to Tbilisi includes talks with the Georgian Minister of Defence, laying a wreath at the Monument in the Heroes Square, and meetings with other high-ranking Georgian officials.
“Minister Dusa’s visit is an opportunity to approach, together with Georgian officials, subjects of common interest, as cooperation with Georgia is a priority to Romania,” reads the cited source.
At the meetings, the Romanian Minister of National Defence will lay out Romania’s support for the Euro-Atlantic roadmap of the Republic of Georgia.
