cwill pay an official visit to Romania on Wednesday, April 8, in order to talk about structural reforms at national level and about the financial assistance program for Romania.
Vice President Dombrovskis will meet Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta, Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu, Public Finance Minister Eugen Teodorovici, and will join Labour Minister Rovana Plumb in attending the launch of the “Guarantee for Youth” program. Likewise, Mr. Dombrovskis will take part in a working lunch with the representatives of trade unions and employers, and will meet Romanian MPs. The meeting with the Public Finance Minister will be followed by a joint press opportunity. The launch of the “Guarantee for Youth” program will be open to the press.
At the end of his visit, EC Vice President Dombrovskis will take part in a working dinner with National Bank of Romania (BNR) Governor Mugur Isarescu.
