The final price of natural gas will grow from July 1 2015 by 5 – 8 percent, on Thursday said the chairman of the National Regulation Authority in Energy (ANRE), Niculae Havrilet.
‘The final price will increase by 5 – 8 percent on average from July 1, as calculated for the 2015-2016 gas year. It is about an average, since the price on regions will depend on each operator. This increase will be practically felt more from December 1, because until then the consumption is low and the gas consumption for heating is cut,’ Havrilet explained.
Starting with April 1 2015, the natural gas prices for the domestic consumers decreased on average by 3.9 pct, according to the ANRE.
‘The regulation Committee with the ANRE has endorsed in its Friday sitting, on March 27 2015, the prices for the regulated supply of natural gas to domestic consumers. In accordance with the tariff methodologies, starting with April 1 2015, the prices for the regulated supply of the natural gas to the domestic consumers will be cut on average by 3.9 percent (an average calculated depending on the weight of each of the 39 suppliers who deliver natural gas to the domestic consumers of the regulated market),’ the ANRE announced in a release on its own website.
