Over 35,000 tourists chose to spend May 1 mini-holiday at the seaside

Over 35,000 tourists chose to spend their May 1 mini-holiday at the seaside, their top choices when it comes to resorts being Mamaia, Vama Veche and Eforie, according to a press release of the Litoral -Delta Dunarii Association (ALDD).
‘It was an explosive weekend, as we thought it would be. Over 35,000 tourists came to spend their mini-holiday at the seaside. Mamaia was one hundred per cent booked, as expected. It was a weekend full of fun and the whole summer will be like that. We are proud that we’ve managed to organise the most beautiful Parade of Romanian Tourism again. We just ended the Parade of Romanian Seaside in Mamaia – the liveliest resort in Romania and with the greatest number of friends, where, together with the tour operators and Italian, Turkish and Moldovan journalists, we launched ‘the night fun season’ for this summer,’ Corina Martin, the head of the Litoral-Delta Dunarii Association stated.
On this occasion, we launched the first brochures and videos with Mamaia in Hebrew, Turkish and Italian and we also launched the first flight to link the Romanian seaside with Milan and the first videonews filmed by teams from Turkish television channels.
Moreover, ‘The Seaside for All’ programme was also launched in the Republic of Moldova and the 8th Parade of the Romanian Seaside was organized.
