Three stars of Romanian culture receive Star on Celebrity Alley

The Mayoralty of Bucharest in partnership with the Metropolis Theatre and Cocor store will organize on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 11 am, in Time Square, a homage ceremony of awarding stars for lifetime achievement in theatre and film industry to artists Alexandru Arsinel and Ion Dichiseanu, in the presence of the Mayor of the Municipality of Bucharest, Sorin Oprescu. Moreover, a star will be offered, in memoriam, to artist and director Sergiu Nicolaescu.

The project “Celebrity Alley” will be restarted at the initiative of the Mayor and the offering of the stars will be held in the presence of colleagues, friends and relatives of the artists.

Alexandru Arsinel has a complex activity in theatre, film, television and radio theatre. He won numerous awards, medals and orders for his lifetime achievement in revue theatre and for his activity as a manager.

Ion Dichiseanu is known due to his artistic activity at the Nottara Theatre as well as for the numerous roles that consecrated him in cinema, TV theatre and radio theatre. The winner of numerous awards, the actor was decorated with the National Order “Loyal Service” in the Rank of Knight (2002).

Sergiu Nicolaescu was a director, script writer and actor and left behind numerous cinema productions, mostly historical ones.
