Telekom Romania launches LocalHub.ro an One Stop Shop platform for small and medium businesses

Telekom Romania announces the launch of LocalHub.ro, the new One Stop-Shop online platform, which offers users an accessible and efficient tool through which they can find relevant and up-to-date information on businesses and their activity. The platform gathers, right from the start, over 400,000 companies all over the country and from all industries.

LocalHub.ro offers business representatives the possibility to consolidate their online presence, by creating a customized page within the portal, which gathers complete information on the company’s activity and on its products and services.

The website also has an optimized for mobile version, in accordance to the new trends in terms of users’ behaviour, who access the Internet more and more on their smartphones. According to latest statistics, the traffic from mobile devices represents almost 10% of the total Internet traffic.

„More than 50% of the small and medium businesses in Romania do not have a relevant online presence. By launching LocalHub.ro, we wished to meet this need and to take companies where their consumers already are, in the online. The launch of LocalHub.ro portal is just the first step of this project and we plan to develop the product this year and to integrate more online solutions. At the same time, we are proud to announce that this is a premiere in Deutsche Telekom Group, an innovative One Stop Shop project, through which we aim to become the first integrated online and offline partner, for both consumers and businesses”, said Alina Cazacu, Senior Manager Non Core E-activities Telekom Romania.

By the end of April 2015, 100,000 customers chose Telekom Romania’s integrated bundles and became part of MagentaONE world.

Telekom brand is present on the Romanian market since 2014, after the joint rebranding of Romtelecom and COSMOTE Romania.
