Total financing of EUR 1 M for young entrepreneurs

The best business plans selected as part of the “Entrepreneurship – the chance of a better future for youth” project will receive total financing of EUR 1 M, 42 young entrepreneurs being already selected by the special commission according to a communiqué remitted on Monday to Agerpres.

The project was launched this spring by the Ilfov County Council in partnership with the Travel Focus Association and Excelsior Association. Thus, 42 start-ups have received a maximum of EUR 25,000 each.

“The 42 young entrepreneurs selected by the special commission will open a company, will make sure it remains operational for at least three years and will invest the RON 110,000, non-reimbursable funds, in running and developing the business.

The new entrepreneurs will have to hire at least two persons, jobs they will have to keep for at least six months after the completion of the project, and the co-financing on their part is of at least 2 per cent, depending on the sums each assumed through the business plan,” the communiqué points out.
