Staples to enter Romanian market

Staples, the world’s top supplier and third-largest online retailer of office supplies and office furnishing will expand in Romania, where it has signed an exclusive partnership with Dacris, a top local office supply store.

The partnership with Dacris will make it easier for the company’s numerous global clients that operate in Romania to buy products from the company’s portfolio. Clients will be able to buy from a single source, a fact that will offer them more efficient control over expenditures and, in the end, the lowering of overall costs. At the same time, the Dacris-Staples partnership is meant to diversify the categories of products sold by the Romanian company. Apart from the 10,000 products already present in the Dacris portfolio, clients will be able to choose Staples products they are already familiar with.
