President Iohannis: Romania has become a cultural benchmark at European level

Romanian President Klaus Iohannis on Friday evening attended the International Theatre Festival in Sibiu (FITS), appreciating that Romania has become a cultural benchmark at the European level over the last couple of years.

“I was attending yesterday evening the theatre show “Krapp’s Last Tape”, part of the programme of the International Theatre Festival in Sibiu. And I could see that, these days, Sibiu gathers people from all over the country and from all over Europe. It has given me great joy to see that Romania has become a true cultural benchmark at European level,” the head of state wrote on his Facebook page.

The 22nd edition of the International Theatre Festival in Sibiu is carried out over June 12-21.
