Three comic book titles from Marvel will be brought to Romania by the Lex Comics publishing house, starting on July 15, those with a passion for superheroes being thus able to be closer to characters such as Iron Man, Thor and Deadpool.

These Marvel titles will be available on the publishing house’s website but also within the national distribution network that includes Inmedio, Carturesti, Librarium, eMag.ro, elefant.ro, as well as special stores and bookstores, a communiqué released by the publishing house and quoted by Mediafax informs.

The comic books can be bought for RON 7.9 every month and the persons interested can pre-order them on the publishing house’s website. After they are published those interested can sign up for monthly subscriptions on the same website – lexshop.ro.

Marvel Worldwide Inc., known as Marvel Comics, has an important history when it comes to comic books, having published them since 1939. In 2009 the company was bought by the Walt Disney Company, which ensures an even more important market for Marvel comic books, films and products related to the Marvel Universe. In 2008 Marvel had a market share of 40.81 per cent on the comic books market.
