Machine Head, back in Romania

The band Machine Head returns to Romania on September 23, 2015, in a special concert entitled “An Evening With Machine Head”. The event is part of the international tour of the band, destined to promote their latest album  “Bloodstone & Diamonds”.

Machine Head will perform in Bucharest, at Arenele Romane and will have a special setlist fans rarely have the opportunity to enjoy live. The performance will last two hours and a half and will include a lot of surprises, according to the organizers.

The band was founded in Oakland, California, in 1991, by Robb Flynn (vocals / guitar) and Adam Duce (bass guitar). Even from their first album,  “Burn My Eyes”, the band gathered a solid base of fans and broke through as a genuine staple of the groove/thrash metal genre.

Machine Head is among the most beloved in the world and appeared as a result of a rich tradition, that gave birth to groups such as Metallica, Exodus, Slayer, Testament, Pantera and Exhorder. Throughout their career, Machine Head launched eight studio albums that represented a powerful influence in shaping the present landscape of international metal.  Machine Head was nominated to the Grammy Awards and won numerous trophies such as “Best Hard Rock Hero”, “Best Live Band”, “Best Inspiration”, “Kerrang Hall of Fame Award”, and many more. This year, Machine Head was nominated at Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards, in the “Best International Band” category.
