The National Company for the Administration Maritime Ports (CNAPM) of Constanta was included in the Plimsoll Top 400 Report, a British publication that analyses the financial performance of the largest companies in the port transports and services industry worldwide.
‘CNAPM is amongst the most performing companies in the industry of port transports and services, the data analyzed being those recorded in 2012, 2013 and 2014. The financial results were noted, namely the steadily growing turnover and profit, above the industry average. Thus, the profit before tax grew from 14.7 percent to 28pct in 2013, while the industry’s average was 4.5pct,’ company CEO Valeriu Nicolae Ionescu informed the media on Thursday.
He mentioned that according to the Plimsoll Report, CNAPM ranks 21st among the top 50 companies listed as ‘Best commercial partner’, as regards its value added trading profit.
‘The Plimsoll Reports are used to assess the attractiveness of the companies in this domain, in order to have a complete image of the specialist market and identify the successful companies with a view to conclude business partnerships,’ Ionescu declared.
