Over 200 works by Salvador Dali, exhibited at Cantacuzino Castle

Over 200 works signed by artist Salvador Dali are exhibited at the Cantacuzino Castle in Busteni mountain resort. The exhibition “Welcome into my brain” will be opened until October.

According to organizers, the exhibition presents the viewers 211 original works by Salvador Dali, respectively carvings on wood, lithography works and etchings on metal, distributed to five rooms in the castle.

The exhibited works have illustrated grand masterpieces of world literature, respectively “The Divine Comedy”, “Gargantua and Pantagruel”, “Faust”, “The Old Man and the Sea” and “The Three Cornered Hat”.

Also, besides these masterpieces, the exhibition will include 78 etchings dedicated to the Tarot set of cards.

One of the halls was destined especially to the famous Tarot cards. There are 76 Tarot cards. Some of them are signed by Salvador Dali; he did not wish to leave his autograph on the rest of them”, Laurentiu David, the organizers’ representative declared, according to Agerpress. The exhibition will be hosted by Cantacuzino Castle until October 4 and the audience may visit it day by day, during 9 am – 8 pm.

The fees for visiting the exhibition range from RON 10 to 35, depending on the category of visitors and the option to include a tour of the castle in the route. The opening of the “Welcome into my brain” was attended by Russia’s Ambassador to Bucharest Oleg Malginov and local authorities.
