Heat wave is back

After a brief respite, the heat wave has returned to Romania on Tuesday especially in western and southern regions, with the highs going back to 36 degrees Celsius.

The weather will warm up even more in the following period, temperatures being set to reach 37 degrees, and will continue to be very hot particularly in southern and western regions. This week will not register a lot of precipitations either, worsening the drought that has already set in low-lying areas because of the very high temperatures that affected Romania recently.

The sky will be clear most of the day in the second half of the week too, some cloud cover being expected in western regions and in mountainous areas where it may rain over limited areas.

Hot days will be registered in Bucharest too, temperatures being set to go as high as 36 degrees Celsius.
