President Iohannis wants Romania to be perceived everywhere according to its potential

President Klaus Iohannis wants Romania to be perceived according to its potential as a state. He maintains that “a powerful state is not an isolated one, but one that enjoys the respect and confidence of its partners, with its representatives constantly communicating and talking with their counterparts in order to build common projects.”

“I had the privilege in these first months of tenure to represent my fellow citizens from both Romania and abroad in discussions with the presidents of France, Poland, Austria, Italy, Portugal, with Germany’s Chancellor, with Spain’s PM, with the UK’s PM and not only. I shall continue to have such meetings with other leaders worldwide, because I want Romania to be perceived everywhere according to its potential as a state and according to our ambitions as a nation,” Iohannis says in a post on Facebook on Monday.
