Young Romanian ice hockey players get trained by US specialists

The young Romanian ice hockey players are getting trained these days by specialists from the United States, the Romanian Ice Hockey Federation announced on its website on Monday.

The Romanian U18 and U16 teams are training in Carta rural town, Harghita county over Aug. 8-20. The training camp is coordinated by Mark Tabrum, USA Hockey’s Director of Coach Education Programs and by Matt Cunningham, Manager of USA Hockey Coach Education Programs.

The goalkeepers will get coaching over Aug. 20-25 from Jason Powers, one of the coaches who train the U.S. goalkeepers.
