Zentiva drugmaker profit drops by 34.14pct in H1

The Bucharest-based Zentiva drug manufacturer has recorded in the first half of the year 17.897 million lei in net profit, down by 34.14pct year-on-year, according to financial data reported on Wednesday to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).

The company’s total revenues were worth 230.539 million lei (plus 12.26pct), while its expenditure reached 206.837 million lei (plus 21pct).

The company’s turnover grew by 4.42pct, to some 208.990 million lei, and sales amounted to 192.081 million lei (plus 2.82pct).

Zentiva is listed in BVB’s Standard category; its main shareholders are Venoma Holdings Limited Cyprus, with 50.9809pct, Zentiva NV Amsterdam – 23.9282pct, and others – 25.0909pct, Agerpres informs.
