Schneider Electric launches new generation of innovative products for industry

Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, has launched on the Romanian market the revolutionary series of Altivar Process variable speed drives, as well as Altivar 1200, a new series of variable speed drives for medium voltage applications with capacities of up to 16.2 MW. The two Schneider portfolio novelties, developed in order to optimize the performances of industrial equipment, will ensure low energy consumption for companies active in the industrial domain.
“Schneider Electric continues to support the activity of industrial companies by developing and updating its portfolio, bringing the latest products on the Romanian market. In the long term, Altivar Process and Altivar 1200, the new series launched, will help the market concerned attain a new level of performance and will become landmarks in the industrial equipment domain,” stated Razvan Copoiu, Schneider Electric Romania and Republic of Moldova’s Industrial Division Vice President.
The new series of Altivar Process variable speed drives offers flexibility, so that the products can be used in the water industry, mining industry, oil and gas industry as well as in the food industry. Likewise, the new Altivar Process equipments are adaptable to clients’ demands, being available in various versions – wall mounts, electric switch boxes, floor mounts, and with protection standards IP 21, IP 23, IP 54 and IP 55.
