The Korea-Romania SMEs Business Partnership Plaza 2015

This year marks an important milestone in the ever deepening partnership between the Republic of Korea and Romania, as both countries celebrate this year the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations in 1990. In this regard, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Kotra Office in Bucharest will host the “Korea-Romania SMEs Business Partnership Plaza 2015”. The event, that will be held in cooperation with the Romanian Ministry of Energy, SMEs and Business Environment and the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Association of Producers and Importers of Agricultural Machines in Romania and other relevant Associations, will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bucharest on September 16 and on September 17 2015.
The event will consist of one-on-one business meetings and a business catalogue exhibition. A delegation of 27 Korean SMEs from Seoul and three Korean companies operating in Bucharest will attend the two-day event, the main objective of which is to help match these Korean SMEs with their Romanian potential business partners. Sixteen companies out of the thirty will dispatch their representatives to Bucharest, with the rest of them participating in the event via the catalogue exhibition.
The Korean SMEs that have been invited manufacture a wide range of products, including intelligent transportation systems (ITS), LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting products, eyeglasses and sunglasses, cosmetics & baby products, software solutions, digital artist brushes, self-assembly golf practice nets, agricultural equipment and material (such as a full line of irrigation products, greenhouse or vinyl farming, high-pressure sprayers, and seeding machines), cutting tools, home heating equipment, and transfer films & deco sheets/tiles.
