Foreign Ministers Aurescu, Gherman talk about Romania-Moldova government sitting’s agenda

The Romanian Foreign Affairs Minister, Bogdan Aurescu has had on Friday a phone call with Natalia Gherman, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister of the Government of Republic of Moldova on the next week’s joint sitting of the two countries’ governments, a press release sent to Agerpres by the Foreign Affairs Ministry informs.

According to the source, the two officials have analysed the topics proposed on the meeting’s agenda scheduled for September 22. So, the talk has focused mainly on the “bilateral projects under way or intended to be launched in the very next period.”

“Minister Bogdan Aurescu emphasized the strategic importance of strengthening cooperation in energy and of continuing at a sustained pace of all projects of connection of the Republic of Moldova to the European power market. Ministers Bogdan Aurescu and Natalia Gherman reviewed the agenda of diplomatic contacts for the interval left till the end of the year and agreed to coordinating efforts with a view to promoting the European targets of the Republic of Moldova,” the release adds.
