Telekom Romania, nominated twice in Global Carrier Awards 2015 competition’s final

Telekom Romania was nominated in two categories in Global Carrier Awards 2015 final, organized by Capacity Magazine, the most prestigious global publication dedicated to telecom wholesale industry.

For the third year in a row, Telekom Romania’s division dedicated to the relations with the local and international telecommunications operators was shortlisted within the competition in “Best wholesale operator from Eastern Europe” category. Also, Telekom Romania team’s performance and commitment have been recognized at global level by being nominated in “Best sales team” category, newly introduced at this edition.

“Being nominated twice within the competition is a proof of the fact that we successfully completed the first steps of our transformation journey towards a strong integrated organization and that we managed to successfully complete the fixed-mobile synergies. We benefited from industry’s recognition last year as well, and the fact that this year our team was also nominated in > category proves once again that we grew stronger, while providing highest quality convergent services, both in our region and at international level. All this encourages us to go further, and our expansion plans targeting markets like Africa, Middle East and CIS (The Commonwealth of Independent States) are new horizons to which we are heading full of trust and courage”, stated Dumitru Vlad, Director Telekom Romania Wholesale.

At its 11th edition, at Global Carrier Awards competition applied over 160 companies throughout the world, the competition being evaluated by 20 renowned experts of the industry, as well by representatives of the editorial team of the publication.

The awards will be announced at Capacity Europe in Paris, within a ceremony which will take place on November 3, 2015.
